My Hero: Ed Johnetta Miller by EmmePosted by: info
EmmeEd Johnetta Miller by EmmeEd Johnetta Miller was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina but moved to Providence, Rhode Island when she was six years old. I picked her because she now lives in Hartford, Connecticut and she is involved in many different community programs teaching pre-schoolers and senior citizens how to quilt. She also donates quilts she and others have made to various organizations for fundraisers. When asked what she likes best about her work, she responded that she enjoys people and being able to "do something for someone."

Hi Emme! I like the fact that you chose Ed Johnetta Miller as your hero because she is involved and enjoys helping the community. I also liked that she teaches pre-schoolers and senior citizens how to quilt. Her quote was also important to me because she said that she enjoys people and doing "something" for them. Your pictures are nice, too, especially the one of Farrah's mouth! Thank You.
