My Hero: Ed Johnetta Miller by Emme

Ed Johnetta Miller was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina but moved to Providence, Rhode Island when she was six years old. I picked her because she now lives in Hartford, Connecticut and she is involved in many different community programs teaching pre-schoolers and senior citizens how to quilt. She also donates quilts she and others have made to various organizations for fundraisers. When asked what she likes best about her work, she responded that she enjoys people and being able to "do something for someone."
